The June professional development event at Jane Tolerton’s Booklovers Bed and Breakfast in Mt Victoria proved popular, and Jane shared from her vast experience conducting interviews over the years.
IABC Wellington members also had a bonus event, with the invitation to attend the launch of Media Monitors’ CARMA research and analysis services at Pod in May. Dr Jim Macnamara spoke on ‘Media Analysis as a Management Tool’ and fellow IABC member from Canberra, Bob Crawshaw, gave his insights about ‘Media Analysis from a Client Perspective’. Jim also gave a particularly interesting presentation on New Media and Web 2.0. Thanks to Media Monitors for extending the invitation!
