IABC Wellington past-President part of Global Development Team

IABC Wellington past-President Lucy Sanderson-Gammon is part of the IABC’s new Global Development team for the Asia Pacific Region.

Australian Adrian Cropley, a Director on the IABC International Executive Board, reported on the new team’s progress on his Act Global - Think Local blog.

He says that over the next few weeks the teams will be working through completing the development of the strategies that will help support current and develop new Chapters within Asia/Pacific. All participants were very enthusiastic about this new approach, which will also enable IABC’s Knowledge of Asia/Pacific to grow and ensure even more participation at an international level by leaders within the region.

Adrian reports that “already the fruits of labour are paying off with the start up of IABC Auckland” [soon to be launched we understand] and work is underway to organise a Global Conference in Hong Kong to be held early 2010, which will include a Leadership Institute to help strengthen leadership directly with the Chapters.

Exciting times for IABC in the Asia Pacific and a big congratulations to Lucy for truely extending her commitment to IABC!
