Update: What does the Electoral Finance Act mean for you?

Just confirmed - Peter Northcote, Communications Manager at the Electoral Commission, will speak at our next workshop on 23 July on the Electoral Finance Act and its implications for communicators.

The Electoral Commission is an independent Crown entity that encourages and conducts public education about electoral matters, and administers aspects of electoral law and process including election advertising, broadcasts, donations, and registration of political parties and third parties. 

The workshop also includes Dr Elspeth Tilley on ethics and Steven Price on media law.
