Chapter Events

IABC Wellington offers a range of professional development events throughout the year, which include reduced-rate places for communicators in voluntary and non-government organisations. Our events include:

BE HEARDTM Forums

  • Bi-monthly, informal discussion forum.
  • Come along and join the discussion AND meet some of your professional peers.

BE ACTIVE Workshops

  • Half day or full day workshops
  • Cost effective ways of ensuring you continue to develop professionally without sacrificing too much time away from work.
  • The workshops are focused on skills development and opportunity to meet others in your field.

BE THERE Special events

  • These special professional development events will be organised where there’s an opportunity too good to miss, such as an outstanding guest speaker.

Voluntary and non-government organisations - reduced rates

As part of our commitment to social responsibility, IABC Wellington often offers a set number of reduced-rate places to communicators in voluntary and non-government organisations for key professional development opportunities. These places are available at a significantly reduced rate. 

When these places are available, we will publicise this information so do join our newsletter mailing list and/or keep an eye on the website a couple of weeks out from an event.

If you are interested in attending at the special voluntary sector rate, when you complete the registration form,  put “voluntary rate” in the membership number box.  The registration form is available online on the Events page.
